1. Chest pain-discomfort

Veins can shrink in cold, which puts more pressure on the heart. There is a risk of triggering angina. Because of this, chest tightness may be felt. In such a situation, if it spreads to the arms, neck, jaw or back, then it can be a sign of heart attack.

2. Persistent cough or wheezing sound

In winter, fluid accumulates in the lungs, which can cause persistent cough. If white or pink blood along with phlegm starts coming with the cough, it means the heart is not able to pump blood properly. This condition is also called pulmonary congestion. Symptoms like difficulty in breathing and wheezing may appear in this.

3. Change of heartbeats

Heart rate and peripheral resistance increases in cold. This makes the heartbeats faster. 4. Swelling in feet

If the heart does not function properly due to cold, blood circulation in the entire body can be affected. Due to this, there may be swelling in the feet and ankles. It is also called edema. This can also be a sign of heart failure.

5. Excessive sweating

Sweating during winter season can also be dangerous. If you are sweating without doing any work, then be careful, because it can be a sign of heart disease. Due to blocked artery, the heart has to work harder to pump blood and the body temperature increases, due to which sweating starts.

6. Trouble breathing

If you are breathing fast or having difficulty breathing while climbing stairs, walking on oil or lifting heavy objects, then do not take it lightly, because these can be signs of some problem in the heart. Its symptoms increase in winter.

7. Feeling dizzy or faint

Abnormal heart function causes high blood pressure and reduced blood flow to the brain. Due to which problems like dizziness, lightheadedness and fainting can occur. These may also be signs of cardiac arrhythmia.
